Plastazote LD45
Plastazote is a closed cell and more connected Polyethylene foam. This high-quality foam is designed to deliver optimal performance with low weight. By using nitrogen in the production of Plastazote and avoiding chemical substances, it makes the foam an environmentally friendly polyethylene foam.

Plastazote LD45 has a fine and flat surface water repellent and very easy to process into different shapes.
The basic dimensions of the raw board are 2000x1000x30 mm and the material is available in black, blue, green, yellow, red or white. Upon request, we can provide you with the material as sheet goods, blanks, shape cuts and inserts.
Plastazote complies with US FDA regulations and complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and is therefore also suitable for the Food industry suitable. Find out more here.

Higher density: Compared to Plastazote LD29, LD45 has a higher density, giving it a slightly stronger and more resistant structure. This density makes it well suited for applications where more support or cushioning is required.
Closed cell structure: Plastazote LD45, like other Plastazote foams, has a closed cell structure that makes it waterproof and resistant to moisture.
Shock absorption: LD45 still offers excellent shock absorption properties, making it very useful for padding, protection and packaging applications.
Chemical resistance: Similar to Plastazote LD29, LD45 is also resistant to many chemicals, making it usable in industrial and chemical environments.
Formability: Plastazote LD45 Black is just as malleable and customizable as LD29. It can be easily cut, shaped and processed to meet the needs of various projects.
