PUR (polyurethane)
PUR polyurethane is characterized by its flexible and largely open-cell structure. PUR soft foams are based on ethers and esters. The PUR foams can be found in many areas.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES OF PU SOFT FOAM
In the area of upholstery, for example, polyurethane soft foams are found car seats or sleep systems. The PUR polyurethane foam impresses in the packaging transport of sensitive goods, in sleeping systems and due to its excellent absorption properties, the material is used, for example, in sound insulation.
