Early in my career, when I started at Lufthansa, I had a strong technical background, but it was only through my experience in production that I discovered the joy of direct customer contact. The packaging industry is particularly exciting for me because it offers so many facets. What I particularly value is the opportunity to accompany projects from the idea through to series production. There is hardly anything better than seeing how an idea that you have worked on for a long time finally becomes a successful product and the customer is satisfied.
I don't have a rigid sales strategy, I'm actually more intuitive. You have to approach each customer differently and respond to their needs. I see my role more as an advisor and supporter - I like to give the customer recommendations, but ultimately what counts is what they have in mind. It's about helping the customer to realize their vision.
Working in a strong team is essential for me. In my position as production manager and in sales, it is important to exchange ideas with colleagues and work together on optimal solutions. Especially with more complex projects, it is crucial that all departments, from production to work preparation, pull together.
When I started, we were a small team at Novapor, and today I see how we have grown together. For me, Novapor is more than just an employer - it feels like family. The personal connection with my colleagues and the successes we have achieved together make this place special. This success is also my success.
