Non-crosslinked polyethylene (PE)
The long carbon-hydrogen chains that make up PE foam are not connected or cross-linked. As a result, uncrosslinked polyethylene (PE) has a limited melting point at which the hydrocarbon chains separate from each other. The uncrosslinked PE foams are manufactured with a recycled content of up to 75%, are granulable and are ideal for reusable applications.
